Okafor joins the firm from Goldman Sachs, where she spent 12 years as a Director in the Special Situations and Investments Division, overseeing a portfolio exceeding $3.2 billion across private equity, infrastructure, and real assets sectors.
In her new role, Okafor will oversee all investment strategy, portfolio management, and deal sourcing for RedStone Capital Partners. She will report directly to the firm's founding partner and will lead a team of 18 investment professionals across the company's three operating divisions.
During her tenure at Goldman Sachs, Okafor built a distinguished track record originating and executing complex transactions in industrial, energy, and technology sectors. She led more than 40 successful investments and exits, generating an average net IRR of 18 percent for fund investors.
