Terminus Labs raises $8.5M Series A to expand AI-powered workforce analytics platform across the Southeast United States.
Terminus Labs, a Birmingham-based artificial intelligence company, announced today that it has secured $8.5 million in Series A funding to accelerate expansion of its workforce analytics platform throughout the Southeast region.
The funding round was led by Vulcan Capital Partners, with participation from existing investors and regional venture firms. The capital infusion will support product development, market expansion and the hiring of additional engineering and go-to-market personnel.
Terminus Labs' platform leverages machine learning algorithms to provide enterprise clients with predictive workforce analytics, including employee retention forecasting, skills gap analysis and organizational optimization recommendations. The technology currently serves more than 40 mid-market and enterprise clients across financial services, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

With this capital, we're doubling down on our product roadmap and expanding our team to meet surging customer demand."
The company plans to establish regional offices in Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville within the next 18 months, alongside its headquarters operations in Birmingham. Terminus Labs also announced a partnership with the University of Alabama's Manderson Graduate Business School to develop workforce analytics curriculum.
