Her Story
Louise Alexander has called Bessemer home for over forty years. A U.S. Army veteran, a small business owner, and a former state legislator, she has spent her life in service — and she has dedicated every chapter of it to making sure this city lifts every family, not just a few.
As an eight-year member of the Alabama House of Representatives representing District 56, Louise fought for fiscal accountability, small business growth, and local legislation that actually changed lives in Jefferson County. She knows how government works — and where it fails.
She served on the Bessemer City Council and founded Alexander Unity Flowers & Gift. She's running for Mayor because she knows this city is ready for its next chapter — and she has the passion to fight for it.
